The finalised new logo.
The old logo.
Before deciding on the final logo (in the green circle) I went through many design iterations exploring colour choices and shapes. I was really happy with my final choice and felt the colours worked well together and shape was far neater and elegant than the others.
The colour palette for this rebrand was inspired by actual forget me not flowers. Using the colour picker tool I lifted colours from the flowers and then narrowed it down to the best few. I wanted a mix of bright and cheerful colours that could be used together and used practically. Whilst the charity deals with such a sensitive and difficult topic for many, the work they do means so much to the families so I wanted to encompass the love and brightness they bring to families in unthinkable situations.
